Camarasaurus

Camarasaurus ( Antik Yunanca: καμαρα/kamara; odacık, σαυρος; sauros 'kertenkele' kelimelerinden: 'odacıklı kertenkele' anlamına gelir) dört ayaklı ve otçul bir dinozor cinsidir. Bu cins, Kuzey Amerika'da bulunan dev sauropodların en yaygını idi. Fosil kalıntıları 155 ve 145 milyon yıl öncesi geç Jura Dönemi'ne tarihlenmektedir. Kalıntıları Colorado ve Utah'daki Morrison Oluşumu'nda bulunmuştur. Verbralarındaki boş odacıklardan dolayı Camarasaurus ismi verilmiştir.
